Job Summary
This role involves overseeing and managing construction projects, primarily in rural road and water infrastructure, as well as landscape development and village renovation initiatives. The successful candidate will advise local authorities on construction-related matters, participate in planning, and manage the tendering, supervision, and billing of projects. Ideal candidates will possess a degree in Civil Engineering or a qualification as a state-certified Construction Technician, with a strong understanding of public procurement and a grasp of agricultural and rural development issues. This position offers an opportunity to work within a supportive project team, take on significant responsibility, and contribute to vital infrastructure projects across the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald and Emmendingen districts, based out of Freiburg.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng.) or Diploma Engineer (FH) in Civil Engineering (specializing in civil engineering) OR state-certified Construction Technician
Experience
- Professional experience in rural road and water construction (ideal)
- Familiarity with public tendering and procurement processes
- Ability to take responsibility within a project team
- Ability to work independently
