Job Summary

The successful candidate will join an innovative Innosuisse project, collaborating with ETH Zurich and Vestir AI, focused on revolutionizing online fashion shopping using advanced 3D Computer Vision and Graphics. This role involves designing, prototyping, and optimizing advanced simulation algorithms, specifically focusing on cloth and deformable materials, to digitize human avatars and garments in 3D. Day-to-day tasks include implementing high-performance C++ and Python modules, integrating deep learning techniques (PyTorch) into graphics pipelines, and contributing to cutting-edge research in real-time graphics and differentiable simulation. This is a unique opportunity to transform scientific innovation into a product with global impact, working in a stimulating academic environment at the forefront of scientific discovery.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Graphics, or a related field.

Experience

  • Professional experience designing, prototyping, and optimizing advanced simulation algorithms
  • Track record of building performant, maintainable software using C++ and Python
  • Hands-on experience with physically-based simulation, particularly cloth, deformable solids, or mass-spring/finite-element methods
  • Experience with at least one major deep learning framework (PyTorch preferred)
