Job Summary

Join F. Hoffmann - La Roche AG in Basel as a Material Planner, taking responsibility for critical material categories within Materials Management. This is a temporary backfill position running from January to September 2026. Your core mission will be to ensure seamless material availability and manage bottlenecks for a defined product portfolio of Direct Materials, carefully balancing production needs with shelf-life and procurement data. Key tasks include optimizing inventory levels, defining planning parameters (like safety stocks and lead times), and generating crucial periodic reports such as open order and write-off risk analyses. You will also coordinate interfaces for material release and lead the Release-Board meetings. To succeed, you must possess a degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent relevant education, coupled with strong analytical skills, experience with SAP and Google tools, and required fluency in both German and English.
