Job Summary
This System Engineer role offers an exciting opportunity to advance your career by contributing to the development and maintenance of system architectures for safety-critical systems, primarily within the military sector. You will be instrumental in applying the V-Model XT, analyzing requirements for completeness and testability, and creating robust interface and architecture models using MBSE tools like Enterprise Architect (SysML). The position involves close collaboration with Safety, Qualification & Validation, and Quality teams to ensure compliance with relevant military standards. You will also technically manage subcontractors and actively promote a model-based development culture within the engineering team, making this a pivotal role for those with a strong background in defense systems and a passion for cutting-edge engineering methodologies.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or comparable field
Experience
- At least 3 years as a System Engineer in safety-critical systems
- Professional experience in the defense sector (ideally)
- Strong knowledge of V-Model XT, MBSE, Maintainability standards, and system architecture methodology
- Understanding of complex technical systems and the interrelationships between function, architecture, and maintenance
