Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the operational readiness and maintenance of flight simulators for a leading flight training company. The technician will be responsible for the repair, overhaul, and preventative maintenance of flight simulators, acting as the primary point of contact for customer support. Key tasks include daily preparation of training equipment, repairing electrical components, and implementing hardware and software modifications according to manufacturer specifications. The position requires meticulous documentation of all work performed and the preparation of regulatory compliance evidence. Ideal candidates will possess a background in avionics or electrical engineering, strong IT user skills, and a willingness to work in a 24/7 shift environment.

Required Skills

Education

Aircraft electronics technician or technical training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics. Further training as a state-certified technician is advantageous.

Experience

  • Practical experience in computer/network technology is desirable
  • Experience in dealing with procedural instructions

English (Basic)
