Job Summary
This role is for a dedicated Landscape Ecologist or Environmental Planner to join a dynamic team in Breckerfeld, near Hagen/Westphalia. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing expert reports, including species protection assessments, FFH compatibility tests, and landscape management plans, as well as contributing to environmental impact assessments and water framework directive compliance. Key responsibilities also include developing concepts for species protection and compensation measures, overseeing ecological construction, and assisting with environmental permitting. The position requires strong collaboration with clients and authorities. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree (B.Sc./M.Sc./Dipl.) in Landscape Planning, Landscape Ecology, Biology (Ecology, Zoology, Nature Conservation), Environmental Sciences, or comparable fields
Experience
- Professional experience in a planning office or authority with an ecological focus (preferred)
- Experience with ecological planning instruments
- Experience in floristic and faunistic mapping
