Job Summary
This role involves critical material planning and coordination within the monoclonal antibody production facility at Roche in Basel. As a Material Planner, you will be essential in maintaining smooth production workflows by managing and linking production orders within the Manufacturing Execution System (MES). Daily responsibilities include raw material demand planning, resolving inventory discrepancies in MES, and coordinating the ordering of non-MES managed laboratory supplies. You will be responsible for assigning, maintaining, and updating batch orders according to the production schedule, as well as managing corresponding SAP batch and maintenance orders. This position requires strong systems knowledge (SAP, MES) and a background in biotechnological manufacturing. It offers a chance to contribute to process optimization and work within a dynamic team at a leading global pharmaceutical company.
Required Skills
Education
Completed professional training (Chemical/Pharmaceutical Technologist) or a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology or a related technical field.
Experience
- Professional experience in biotechnological manufacturing processes
- Demonstrated high interface competence and communication skills
- Proven ability to work proactively, independently, and collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience in analytical and networked thinking for process optimization
