Job Summary

This Senior ICT System Engineer role offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic engineering and operations team focused on security platforms within the Swiss Federal Administration (BIT). You will be instrumental in the development and operation of complex Windows and Linux/Unix security platforms, providing critical 2nd and 3rd level support, and advising the security team on system design for new solutions. A key focus will be on driving automation using tools like PowerShell, Ansible, and Python to eliminate manual tasks, standardize processes, and ensure the stability and performance of solutions. The ideal candidate possesses a completed IT education, extensive practice in engineering complex application landscapes, deep security knowledge, and proficiency in agile methodologies like SAFe. Crucially, candidates must demonstrate good knowledge of two official Swiss languages (German, French, or Italian) in addition to English.
