Job Summary
This role involves ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of building facilities and technical equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections, maintenance, and repairs, as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues across the entire building infrastructure. A key aspect of the job is identifying and implementing measures to enhance energy efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions. The role also includes managing technical projects from planning to completion, overseeing budgets, and coordinating with external service providers. Additionally, the technician will handle building administration, space management, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, contributing to a sustainable and efficient building operation.
Required Skills
Education
Completed training as an Electrician/Energy Systems Electrician, Plant Mechanic or similar, preferably with further training as a Technician for Building Systems Technology. Training as a Fire Protection Officer is advantageous.
Experience
- Professional experience in a comparable position
- Knowledge of standards and laws (building services, trade regulations, technical building codes) or willingness to acquire them
- Enthusiasm for sustainable building management and innovative solutions

- Occasional willingness to travel to other company locations in Germany is required. Location: Mainz-Kastel (Wiesbaden).
