Job Summary
This role is for a Junior Production Specialist in pharmaceutical manufacturing, focusing on the production of biotechnical therapeutic proteins and antibodies on an industrial scale. The successful candidate will operate and maintain fermentation/harvesting equipment, perform filtrations, and prepare buffer solutions. A key responsibility will be ensuring batch documentation adheres to GMP guidelines, primarily using electronic manufacturing software (BioMES) and paper documentation. This position requires a candidate with a background in biotechnology, chemistry, or a related field, preferably with experience in a GMP environment. The role demands strong organizational skills, PC proficiency, and the ability to work in a 2-shift system, including weekends, while handling physical tasks like lifting.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Bio-specialist, Production Specialist for Biotechnology/Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Technician, Chemical Technician, or related fields. Alternatively, a natural science education with relevant experience, or comparable qualifications such as Brewer, Malter, Dairy Specialist, Baker, Specialist for Fruit Juice Technology, Mechatronics.
Experience
- Professional experience, ideally in a GMP environment
- Experience in large-scale technical productions or natural science background with relevant experience
- Several years of professional experience (for specific vocational qualifications like brewer, baker, mechatronics)
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to work in a 2-shift system (early-early-late) including weekend work (every third week) and flexible assignments. Physical ability to lift loads between approximately 20 kg to 30 kg.
