Job Summary

This role involves optimizing cardiovascular implants and devices like heart valves and coronary stents to improve biocompatibility and functionality, directly contributing to advancements in cardiovascular medicine. The successful candidate will plan and independently conduct experiments, performing biological testing of cardiovascular implants using both in vitro (e.g., Chandler Loop, flow chamber systems) and in vivo (rat model) analyses. A key aspect of the role is close collaboration with engineering and bioinformatics partners, providing experimental data for their in silico simulations. The position is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a background in natural sciences, strong molecular biology skills, and an interest in translational, interdisciplinary research within national and international collaborative projects.
