Job Summary
As a Global Product Support Engineer at Lam, you will be the primary technical support for field engineers and product support personnel, focusing on complex semiconductor equipment. Your daily tasks will involve diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging electro-mechanical systems, ensuring minimal downtime for customers. This role requires on-site repair and maintenance, analytical troubleshooting to the component level, and performing complete installations or relocations. You will also manage limited-scope projects, maintain detailed records, and stay updated on equipment through continuous training. This position is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in electronics or engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
Required Skills
Education
Technical education in electronics, engineering, or applicable field (HTL/Bachelor equivalent)
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of equivalent work experience
- Experience working from electrical and mechanical schematics and diagrams
- Experience interpreting operation manuals for root cause analysis
