Job Summary
This leadership role involves overseeing the technical operations and maintenance of the Deutsche Bundesbank's facilities and high-availability data centers in Frankfurt am Main. The successful candidate will lead a team of specialists, manage external partners, and drive process optimization, including the implementation of new technologies and sustainability initiatives. Key responsibilities include ensuring the uninterrupted operation of technical infrastructure, managing maintenance and investment projects, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance. This position is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in technical facility management, data center operations, and leadership, contributing to the stability of the Euro and central bank functions.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Industrial Engineering with a technical specialization, or comparable qualification. A supplementary business administration qualification is advantageous.
Experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the technical operation and maintenance of properties and high-availability data centers
- Experience in developing, applying, and refining operational concepts in in- and outsourcing
- Experience in the introduction and certification according to ISO 9001 for quality management in technical operations
- Demonstrated leadership competence (through initial leadership experience or relevant training/certificates)

Additional
- Willingness and health suitability for travel, including possession of a Class B driving license. Readiness to undergo a security clearance check according to the German Federal Security Clearance Act (SÜG). Location: Frankfurt am Main.
