Job Summary

This role is for a strategic and operational leader to head the Cable Civil Engineering department within DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH, based in Berlin. The successful candidate will manage a team of approximately 140 employees across two project offices (North and South), E-mobility, and bid processing, playing a crucial part in shaping the future of rail and transport infrastructure in Germany and Europe. Day-to-day, this involves full business responsibility, including acquisition, calculation, bid preparation, project execution, billing, and change order management. The Head of Cable Civil Engineering will ensure economic steering, quality, timeline, and cost adherence, foster employee development and retention, and drive continuous improvement processes, contributing significantly to the strategic direction and innovation of a leading full-service provider for railway infrastructure.
