As an Automotive Measurement Technician, you will play a crucial role in quality management, specifically within the metrology department. Your daily tasks will involve ensuring the suitability of measuring devices, overseeing calibration and object alignment processes, and performing setup operations. You will be responsible for preparing, executing, and evaluating measurement orders for automotive body assemblies at various production stages. This includes conducting measurement system analyses and machine capability studies, then evaluating and documenting the results using database software like PiWeb (Zeiss). You will communicate findings to stakeholders and contribute to interdepartmental projects, leveraging your technical understanding and ability to interpret technical drawings.
