Job Summary

This role involves driving downstream process development for recombinant cells and proteins, focusing on experimental design, execution, and analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling samples, recombinant cells, and cell culture media, as well as developing experimental study designs, including Design of Experiments (DoEs). Key responsibilities also include setting up, operating, and applying analytical and laboratory equipment for chromatography, filtration, and flow cytometry (High Throughput DSP), while ensuring laboratory and equipment maintenance adheres to quality standards. Education

University degree in (Molecular) Biology, Chemistry, or another natural science field

Experience

  • Professional experience in downstream processes
  • Experience with various analytical methods or preparative work (e.g., preparative chromatography, filtration, High-Throughput DSP development)
  • Experience in handling samples (procurement, collection, preparation, and distribution)
  • Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., JMP, R) and lab-specific software
