Job Summary
The Kreis Steinburg is seeking a part-time (19.5 hours/week) GIS Coordinator to join its Regional Development, Energy, and Climate Protection department. This role is crucial for conceptualizing, organizing, coordinating, and advancing the use of Geographic Information Systems across the district administration, including WebGIS. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing geodata, ensuring data availability, and providing expert support and consultation to various departments and local administrations on GIS-related matters. This position offers an opportunity to work on spatial planning, urban development, climate protection, and energy transition initiatives, contributing to the effective use of GIS for complex regional challenges.
Required Skills
Education
University degree (e.g., Diploma, Bachelor) in Environmental or Spatial Sciences (e.g., Geoinformatics, Cartography, Surveying, Spatial Planning, Geography) or comparable fields. Additional qualification in GIS (advantageous).
