Job Summary

The University of Bremen is seeking an IT Specialist to join its IT Service Center, focusing on Authentication and Authorization Infrastructure (AAI) and Sync'n'Share solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation and continuous development of central Shibboleth Identity and OpenIDConnect Providers, ensuring high availability and creating comprehensive technical documentation, including emergency and recovery processes. You'll also manage the university's Sync'n'Share solution, focusing on availability, performance, and integration, while providing second-level support and end-user documentation. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or relevant vocational training with significant professional experience, specifically with Shibboleth, OpenIDConnect, and large-scale Sync'n'Share deployments. Required Skills

Education

University degree (FH-Diplom or Bachelor) in Computer Science or a related technical field, or completed vocational training as an IT Specialist in System Integration.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT, preferably with a focus on system integration
  • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience (if vocational training)
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience (if comparable qualifications)
  • Experience in the conception, setup, and operation of Shibboleth Identity Providers and OpenIDConnect Providers
  • Experience with Sync'n'Share solutions in large environments with high availability requirements
