Job Summary
This role is for an experienced System Engineer specializing in high-voltage energy storage and battery systems. You will be instrumental in shaping future system architectures, focusing on structured, traceable, and maintenance-optimized designs. The position involves developing and maintaining system architectures using Enterprise Architect (SysML) within an MBSE context, applying the V-model XT for safety-critical systems in a military environment. You'll analyze requirements, elaborate specifications, and support design reviews, working closely with validation, quality, and safety teams to ensure norm-compliant development. This role requires deep technical expertise, systemic thinking, and interdisciplinary collaboration to deliver innovative energy solutions for critical applications.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering (alternatively: Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, or comparable)
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience as a System Engineer, ideally in safety-critical systems within a defense environment
- Specialized knowledge in energy storage and battery systems, particularly with high-voltage components and architectures
- Profound knowledge of V-model XT, MBSE methodology, maintainability standards, and system architecture development
- Experience with complex technical systems, especially the interdependencies between function, architecture, and maintenance
