This role is for a strategic leader passionate about achieving climate neutrality and driving the energy transition in the Hannover region. As the Head of the Municipal Climate Protection Team, you will lead a team of 8 professionals, overseeing personnel, organizational, and financial responsibilities. Your day-to-day will involve steering the team's strategic and conceptual direction, integrating the Climate Plan 2035 with the regional climate protection concept, and developing a sustainable climate protection strategy. You will also represent the region in external negotiations and committees, initiate strategic alliances with key stakeholders, and develop innovative concepts to strengthen climate protection.
