Job Summary

This role involves acting as the lead engineer for planning and implementing global electrical engineering strategies within an international team. The successful candidate will manage operational projects from concept development to technical implementation, including acceptance and commissioning. Key responsibilities include coordinating external resources and contractors, awarding and accepting engineering and assembly services, and creating specifications for electrical equipment. This position also focuses on ensuring compliance with regulations, standards, and procedures, maintaining plant availability through future-oriented electrical concepts, and contributing to safety assessments. The role is ideal for an experienced electrical engineer looking to lead innovative energy projects and develop technical standards.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or comparable qualification. Additional certifications such as Lightning Protection Specialist or Qualified Person for Secondary Electrical Explosion Protection are required.

Experience

  • Several years of project experience in planning E- or MSR projects and DCS/SIS in the petrochemical/chemical industry
  • Experience in leading multidisciplinary project teams

Additional

  • Expert knowledge of energy technology products and systems. Good knowledge of relevant VDE standards, country-specific implementations, and other relevant standards, laws, and regulations (e.g., VDE, Ex-protection, Industrial Safety Ordinance). Permanent employment contract.
