Job Summary
This role is for a Regulatory Affairs Specialist focused on Chemistry and Biology, ensuring chemical products meet global marketability standards safely and legally. The specialist will be responsible for creating safety data sheets, classifying substances and mixtures according to CLP, GHS, and other regulations, and advising clients on hazardous substance law and related areas like biocidal and dangerous goods law. A key part of the role involves analyzing national and international chemical product regulations, maintaining high data quality for hazardous substance master data in EHS systems, and assessing the marketability of chemical products. The position requires a scientific background and experience in chemical law, offering an opportunity to protect both people and the environment.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Chemistry, Biology, Ecotoxicology, or a related field; alternatively, a completed vocational training with several years of practical experience in this area.
Experience
- Professional experience as a Chemist, Biologist, or Toxicologist
- Initial knowledge of chemical law, REACH, or CLP regulations
- Experience with classification and labeling requirements outside Europe

Additional
- Located in Griesheim near Darmstadt, Germany. This position can be full-time or part-time (minimum 24 hours/week). Permanent contract.
