Job Summary

Join the Fraunhofer IEE's dedicated IT team as an IT Network Administrator, contributing to the energy transition by ensuring a stable and secure IT infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for operating existing IT infrastructure, evaluating and implementing new IT solutions, and managing complex network and server environments. Your day-to-day will involve configuring and maintaining LAN/WLAN, enhancing network security architecture with Network Access Control, and managing firewalls like Palo Alto and Barracuda. You'll also support Windows and Linux server landscapes, provide IT-side concept development advice to research departments, and troubleshoot IT operations.
