Job Summary
This role involves contributing to the digitalization of hazard prevention and improving the accessible emergency call system in Germany, specifically for the nora emergency app. The Deputy Head will support the overall management of the Business and Coordination Office (GuK) for the nora emergency app system, overseeing its legal, organizational, and technical operations. Key responsibilities include project and quality management, controlling, and conducting legal assessments related to data protection, contract, and procurement law. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal acumen, excellent communication skills, and an affinity for IT. This position offers the opportunity to work autonomously in a critical public safety project, ensuring the app's stable operation and continuous improvement for citizens across Germany.
Required Skills
Education
Civil servant of general administration, career group 2, second entry level, preferably with qualification for judicial office, holding an office up to salary group A 14 LBesO A NRW, or comparable tariff employee in the public service of North Rhine-Westphalia. For lawyers, a total score of 6.5 in the second state examination; for administrative assessors, a satisfactory result in the state examination.

- Professional experience in legal assessment of facts in various legal fields (e.g., data protection, contract, procurement, and EU law)
