Job Summary
This role involves ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of the Witznitz Solarpark, Europe's largest interconnected solar power plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of key plant components like modules, inverters, and medium-voltage transformers, alongside managing spare parts and the entire lifecycle of essential assets. Key responsibilities also include continuous optimization of plant performance and energy yields, conducting DGUV-V3 inspections, and ensuring operational safety. This position is ideal for an electro-technical professional with a hands-on mentality, ready to contribute to the efficient and sustainable operation of a landmark renewable energy project.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering; additional qualification as a Master Craftsman or State-Certified Technician in Electrical Engineering is advantageous
Experience
- Professional experience in the operation of large renewable energy assets, preferably PV systems
- Experience with components such as SPS, MSR, monitoring, and CMMS systems (desirable)
- Initial knowledge in VDE-AR-N 4130 and protection and control technology (desirable)
