Job Summary
This specialist role focuses on coordinating the disposition of goods and ensuring smooth, efficient inventory management for approximately 100,000 products for a leading Swiss home furnishings retailer. Key responsibilities include analyzing, maintaining, and optimizing forecasting parameters to manage stock levels effectively and ensure an optimal flow of goods to the 18 branches. The scheduler independently initiates orders within SAP R/3, monitors order confirmations, and ensures timely goods receipts from suppliers. Candidates should possess a solid commercial education, several years of relevant professional experience, and proficiency in SAP R/3 and MS Office tools like Excel. Strong analytical skills and a precise, service-oriented work ethic are essential. This position is crucial for maintaining inventory health and serves as a central point of contact between suppliers, purchasing, logistics, and the retail branches.
