Job Summary
This role involves the independent planning and design of control cabinets, including the development of circuit and wiring diagrams using CaE programs like EPLAN. The Electrical Design Engineer will ensure all designs comply with electrical standards and regulations, support cost calculations and proposals, and verify documentation according to quality management guidelines. A key aspect of the role is the specification and selection of electrical components, coordinating technical details with suppliers, and serving as a crucial interface between mechanical design and in-house manufacturing. This position is ideal for an experienced professional with a background in electrical engineering and a strong understanding of control systems and hardware planning.
Required Skills
Education
University degree or technical education with a focus on Electrical Engineering
Experience
- Very good experience with common CaE programs (e.g., EPLAN, WSCAD)
- Profound experience in project planning and hardware planning for electrical control systems
- Experience in the design and layout of electrical assemblies and components
- Experience in communication with executing companies and clients
- Initial project management experience (advantageous)
