Job Summary

This pivotal role as Deputy CISO involves supporting the Chief Information Security Officer in defining, maintaining, and executing the comprehensive cybersecurity strategy for the organization, ensuring strict adherence to financial sector regulatory requirements such as FINMA and SWIFT. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving key security projects, including PAM, DLP, and identity management solutions, while maintaining and updating security policies based on standards like ISO 27001/2. Day-to-day activities include coordinating incident response, managing security governance committees, and communicating complex technical subjects effectively to diverse stakeholders, from technical teams to executive management. This position requires a minimum of five years of dedicated cybersecurity experience, ideally within banking or asset management, coupled with a Master's degree. It offers a unique opportunity to shape the security posture of a major financial entity in Geneva.

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree (or equivalent) in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity
  • Professional experience in the financial sector (banking, insurance, asset management)
  • Proven experience in a similar security management role (e.g., Cybersecurity Manager or Security Officer)
  • Strong knowledge of Swiss cybersecurity regulations and banking/financial context (FINMA, SWIFT)
