Job Summary
As a Service Process Manager at the Scientific Computing Center (SCC) of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), you will play a central role in designing, steering, and continuously developing IT service processes. You will leverage your strong organizational understanding and holistic view of process architectures to ensure smooth operations and high service quality. This involves analyzing existing processes, identifying optimization potential, and leading implementation within projects. You will act as a key interface between departments, IT, and external partners, contributing significantly to the efficiency and future viability of the service organization. Additionally, you will support the Service Desk in advising on IT service inquiries, problem reports, and requests.
Required Skills
Education
University degree (Master / Diploma) in Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in process management, from analysis to modeling and optimization of business and IT processes
- Practical experience in project management
- Understanding of process architectures and their integration into existing organizational structures
- Understanding of IT infrastructures and operational processes to translate technical requirements into service-relevant processes
