Job Summary
The City of Bad Salzuflen is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their civil engineering department. This role focuses on the development and maintenance of the city's road infrastructure, including GIS system management, road condition assessment, and creating comprehensive road rehabilitation concepts. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects through all phases of HOAI (German Fee Schedule for Architects and Engineers), coordinating with external engineering firms, and ensuring quality standards in road and civil engineering. This is a part-time, permanent position offering flexible working hours, mobile work options, and a supportive team environment within a modern public administration.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Civil Engineering (Road and Structural Engineering) (Diplom-Ingenieur, Master/Bachelor of Engineering) or comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience and sound knowledge of construction technology in civil engineering
- Experience with HOAI service phases
- Knowledge of procurement and contract law (e.g., VgV, VOB) and other relevant legal regulations
- Knowledge of relevant DIN standards and technical regulations

- Driving license Class B and willingness to use private car for official duties (with expense reimbursement) if a service vehicle is not available
