Job Summary

This role involves hands-on work within a data center environment for a leading multinational IT company. The Data Center Technician will be responsible for preparing, staging, setting up, and performing startups and shutdowns of various hardware components like racks, hard drives, and switches, strictly adhering to established protocols and safety standards. Key responsibilities also include conducting post-execution quality checks, verifying proper grounding, labeling, and cabling, and performing diagnostics and troubleshooting to quickly resolve issues and replace faulty components. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a data center, a basic understanding of computer hardware and networking devices, and the flexibility to work non-standard hours. This position offers an initial 18-month fixed-term contract with the potential for permanent employment.
