Job Summary
This role involves ensuring the structural integrity and overall condition of wind turbines through regular, independent inspections. As an expert, you will spend approximately half your time on-site conducting various tests and assessments, including recurring inspections, post-commissioning checks, and condition-based evaluations. The other half of your time will be dedicated to preparing detailed technical reports from the office or home office. You will also be responsible for reviewing technical documentation, managing assigned projects independently, and contributing to the development of new inspection procedures. This position offers a balanced mix of practical fieldwork and theoretical report writing, primarily focusing on projects in northern Germany, often allowing for day trips and regular evenings at home.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or qualification as a state-certified technician or master craftsman
Experience
- Experience in the wind energy sector
- Professional experience in preparing technical reports
- Project-oriented work with a focus on goals, time, and budget
