Job Summary

This role involves providing direct support to the team lead in organizing and implementing central themes within the Department of Immigration and Integration for the Hannover Region. You will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and evaluating work and organizational concepts, as well as managing cross-team working groups and projects. A significant part of the role includes creating and analyzing statistics for decision-making, contributing to public relations, and serving as the eGovernment and Data Protection Officer for the department. This position focuses on conceptual and organizational tasks, digital transformation, and efficient administration, without direct customer contact. It offers a chance to shape modern, service-oriented public administration in a collaborative environment.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Law, or equivalent (e.g., Diplom-Verwaltungswirt*in, Diplom-Verwaltungsbetriebswirt*in, Bachelor Allgemeine Verwaltung, Bachelor Verwaltungsbetriebswirtschaft), or completion of the Second Employee Examination (Zweite Angestelltenprüfung)

Experience

  • Professional experience in organizing and coordinating roles is advantageous
  • Professional experience in digitization and data protection is advantageous
  • Several years of professional experience based on the required qualifications is desirable
