Job Summary

This role involves critical environmental sampling for the State Office for Nature, Environment and Consumer Protection of North Rhine-Westphalia (LANUK). Day-to-day, the technician will conduct sampling of wastewater, surface water, and groundwater, including preparing and maintaining sampling vehicles and equipment. Responsibilities also include on-site measurements, sample preservation, quality assurance, and meticulous protocol documentation in a lab data system. The ideal candidate will have a background in chemical laboratory work or wastewater technology, possess a valid driver's license, and be prepared for fieldwork, including potential night and weekend shifts, as well as on-call duty.
