This role is for an Industrial Master Chemist to join a leading chemical company in Wiesbaden as a Deputy Department Head. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for organizing and overseeing the production of chemical products, acting as an operational team leader. This includes supporting the creation of shift and vacation schedules, documenting production processes, and ensuring seamless information flow within the team and to other departments. You will also operate and monitor production plants, identify and resolve malfunctions, perform minor repairs, and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards. The ideal candidate will have a technical vocational education, further training as an Industrial Master Chemist, and professional experience in chemical production, ideally with initial leadership experience. Strong understanding of production processes, GMP, work safety, and quality assurance is essential.
