Job Summary

As a Project Engineer for Control and Safety Technology (CST) and Telecommunications (TCOM), you will be responsible for complex and demanding railway infrastructure projects from planning to completion. This involves ensuring adherence to all internal and external regulations, managing timelines, controlling costs, and maintaining quality standards. You will collaborate closely with all project stakeholders, coordinating with technical departments, authorities (especially the EBA), and third parties. Additionally, you will commission internal service providers for construction supervision, acceptance testing, and commissioning, as well as system manufacturers and external contractors. Your role includes preparing CST & TCOM documents for construction and acceptance testing, approving completed facilities, and managing performance agreements with other business units. You will continuously monitor critical success factors and risks, developing countermeasures as needed to ensure project success. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Telecommunications Engineering, Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Automation Technology, or a comparable field

Experience

  • Professional experience in telecommunications and transmission technology for control and safety systems
  • Experience in managing complex and demanding projects in railway infrastructure

German (Fluent)
