This is an exciting opportunity for an Early Career Research (ECR) Group Leader to establish and lead an independent research group focused on "Catalysis" within the world-leading Cluster of Excellence RESOLV. The successful candidate will develop and optimize catalytic reactions and processes, leveraging an understanding of solvation processes at the molecular level. This role involves close collaboration with existing interdisciplinary groups at Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB) and the Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung (MPI KoFo). The position offers a unique chance to contribute to cutting-edge fundamental research in Solvation Science and translate findings into applications, supported by a start-up package and a fixed-term contract until 2032.
