Job Summary

As a Materials Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for the independent planning, execution, evaluation, and reporting of testing campaigns to qualify materials and connections. This involves collaborating with various departments, managing laboratory tasks including planning test campaigns, and procuring consumables and measuring equipment. You will conduct mechanical-technological tests on plastics, metals, adhesive/welded joints, and sandwich components, such as tensile, compression, bending tests, hardness measurements, microscopy, aging, and corrosion tests. A key part of the role is to continuously develop and optimize testing procedures and processes, ensuring thorough documentation and the creation of insightful test reports.
