Job Summary
This role involves leading electrical engineering and Measurement, Control, and Regulation (MCR) projects for a major aerospace and defense company. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring project goals are met regarding time, budget, scope, and quality, while coordinating interdisciplinary teams in a matrix organization. Key responsibilities include technical leadership, reviewing plans, managing investment project applications, and overseeing commissioning and acceptance. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in electrical engineering, extensive project management experience, and strong analytical skills, operating in a self-reliant and solution-oriented manner to deliver complex projects within the aerospace sector.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable qualification
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in project management
- Ideally, experience with construction site management
- In-depth knowledge of MCR technology and electrical planning
- Experience collaborating with specialist planners and external service providers
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to travel: Two business trips per week to Hamburg and occasional trips to other Airbus locations in Germany.
