Job Summary

As an Applied Scientist in the Fashion Recommendations Team, you will be instrumental in enhancing Zalando's browsing experience by developing and optimizing recommendation systems that cater to unique customer styles and preferences. Your daily tasks will involve designing and implementing ML/AI solutions, building robust data pipelines and models using technologies like AWS, Python, and TensorFlow, and deploying these solutions to serve over 52 million customers. You will define hypotheses, conduct A/B tests to validate use cases, and focus on integrating state-of-the-art solutions, including LLM-based recommendations, to drive commercial impact. Working within a cross-functional team of Applied Scientists, Data Engineers, and Backend Engineers, and collaborating with Product Managers and Designers, you will contribute to the team's roadmap and deliver impactful solutions that redefine the customer's fashion purchasing journey.
