Job Summary
This role offers a unique opportunity for a student to conduct their thesis research on the impacts of Home Energy Management Systems (HEMS) on energy procurement for a municipal utility. The successful candidate will analyze how the increasing flexibility and decentralization of energy supply, driven by 'prosumers,' affects the utility's purchasing strategy. Day-to-day, you will investigate the effects of HEMS on energy procurement, identify opportunities for future purchasing strategies, and collaborate with internal and external partners to understand factors influencing forecasts and balancing. You will also support daily tasks in energy procurement and energy solutions, gaining practical experience in a dynamic sector.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree student in Energy Economics, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field.
