Job Summary

This role is for a Junior IT Project Manager to support the digital transformation of the German Armed Forces. You will assist in complex IT projects from solution development to implementation, translating customer requirements into IT processes and solutions. Key responsibilities include preparing data analyses, reports, and decision templates, as well as ensuring cross-departmental communication of project status. The position requires initial professional experience in project management, IT architecture, or IT consulting, strong analytical skills, and a customer-oriented mindset. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Germany's security by developing and modernizing one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (or equivalent technical college degree) with an IT focus, or comparable specialized vocational training (if vocational training, including at least 5 years of relevant professional experience)

Experience

  • Initial professional experience in (agile) project management, IT architecture, or IT consulting after graduation
  • Professional experience in Software Engineering, Mobile Work, Data Center Infrastructure, or Application Operations/Takeover
  • Knowledge of common project management standards (IPMA Level D certification or similar desirable)
  • Experience with Jira or comparable tools and Microsoft Office Suite
