Job Summary
As a High Voltage Grid Planning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in advancing Germany's energy transition by technically supporting the expansion of the high-voltage grid in Schleswig-Holstein. Your daily tasks will involve the conceptual and topological development of the target electricity grid, including deriving and preparing concrete grid development measures. You will also oversee major projects, represent company interests to political bodies and external partners, and contribute to scenario analysis for grid development, particularly concerning renewable energies and storage. This position offers the opportunity to optimize cross-divisional processes, collaborate on conceptual planning, and contribute to annual mid-term planning and budget control, making it an impactful role within a large, secure company committed to the energy transition.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Several years of practical experience in high-voltage grid planning and development
- Professional experience in supporting large-scale infrastructure projects
- Experience in scenario development and analysis for grid planning
- Experience in budget planning and control
