Job Summary
This role involves supporting and coaching Offshore Service Site Technicians at new Offshore Service sites globally, focusing on the V236-15MW Turbines. The trainer will ensure knowledge sharing, implement best practices, and minimize production losses from day one. Key responsibilities include mentoring local teams in day-to-day windfarm operations, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, and training on Vestas processes and safety rules. The position requires an experienced technician with strong people skills, a passion for operational excellence, and the ability to work in a rotational shift pattern, either onshore or offshore. This is an exciting opportunity to drive Vestas' global scaling efforts and contribute to sustainable energy solutions.
Required Skills
Education
Completed electrical or mechanical degree from a technical school/college/university (e.g., Marine Engineer or similar)
Experience
- Professional experience as a Technician with technical and operational insights
- Relevant professional experience (electrical or mechanical)
- Previous experience as a Field Trainer, Lead Supervisor/Lead Technician, Service Technician/Troubleshooter, Commissioning Supervisor, or similar (preferred)
- Background in the Wind Business or similar (preferred)
- Currently hold Authorised Technician status on V164/V174 or EnVentus platforms
- People managing, coaching and leadership experience

- Full driver's license; Flexible to work from Vestas offices in Europe (Denmark, Germany, United Kingdom, Belgium, Netherlands); Ability to work onshore or offshore on a rotational shift pattern; Willingness to undergo Vestas technical training in Denmark and field training at V236 operational sites.
