Job Summary

This role involves supporting and coaching Offshore Service Site Technicians at new Offshore Service sites globally, focusing on the V236-15MW Turbines. The trainer will ensure knowledge sharing, implement best practices, and minimize production losses from day one. Key responsibilities include mentoring local teams in day-to-day windfarm operations, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, and training on Vestas processes and safety rules. The position requires an experienced technician with strong people skills, a passion for operational excellence, and the ability to work in a rotational shift pattern, either onshore or offshore. Required Skills

Education

Completed electrical or mechanical degree from a technical school/college/university (e.g., Marine Engineer or similar)

Experience

  • Professional experience as a Technician with technical and operational insights
  • Relevant professional experience (electrical or mechanical)
  • Previous experience as a Field Trainer, Lead Supervisor/Lead Technician, Service Technician/Troubleshooter, Commissioning Supervisor, or similar (preferred)
  • Background in the Wind Business or similar (preferred)
  • Currently hold Authorised Technician status on V164/V174 or EnVentus platforms
  • People managing, coaching and leadership experience

  • Full driver's license; Flexible to work from Vestas offices in Europe (Denmark, Germany, United Kingdom, Belgium, Netherlands); Ability to work onshore or offshore on a rotational shift pattern; Willingness to undergo Vestas technical training in Denmark and field training at V236 operational sites.
