Job Summary

This role involves the comprehensive management of measurement tools and shop floor equipment, focusing on mechanical, optical, and other measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, microscopes, and manometers. The technician will be responsible for planning, procurement, commissioning, and modifying these operational resources, as well as documenting, analyzing, and developing existing systems, including calibration instructions. A key aspect is advising internal clients on the use and maintenance of measurement equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a technical education in electrical engineering, measurement and control technology, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering, coupled with practical experience in measurement systems and a strong understanding of quality standards and calibration processes.
