Job Summary

This role is for a Life Science Account Manager to drive growth for Leica Microsystems' microscopy business in the Berlin area. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing accounts, identifying new customers, and developing strategies to achieve sales targets. This involves advanced geographic key account planning, account mapping, and networking. The Account Manager will also coordinate internal teams and channel partners to ensure optimal customer engagement and will proactively manage the sales funnel to produce accurate forecasts. This remote position requires significant customer-facing time, with an expectation to be on-site three days a week, and regular reporting on sales metrics. It's an opportunity to contribute to scientific discoveries and support critical decisions in the life sciences field.

Experience

  • Strong and proven sales experience in a relevant industry
  • Previous exposure to microscopy, spatial biology, and/or proteomics strongly preferred
