Job Summary
This role is for an IT Support Specialist to join a well-established company specializing in electrical and MSR technology for heavy industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, administration, and development of the network and server infrastructure, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365 and Azure environments. Key responsibilities include ensuring IT security, managing backup and disaster recovery, and providing 2nd and 3rd-level support. This position offers long-term job security, a 36-hour work week, and opportunities for professional development within a supportive team.
Required Skills
Education
Completed IT-related training (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or a degree in Computer Science / Business Informatics or comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in IT administration
- Several years of professional experience in Windows server environment administration (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies)
- Experience in IT security (firewall administration, ATP/sandboxing, endpoint security, backup strategies)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V) and storage systems (NAS/SAN)
