Job Summary
This role is for an IT System Integration Specialist responsible for the regional administration of the entire IT infrastructure, from hardware to networking, at the central administration in Karlsruhe-Durlach. Day-to-day tasks include configuring, installing, and maintaining hardware, providing first-level support for IT issues, managing user accounts in collaboration with an external data center, and acting as an interface for software installations. The specialist will also conduct training, manage licenses, lead IT projects, and optimize IT processes. This position offers the opportunity to actively shape and develop the IT landscape, with a focus on independent work and problem-solving.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or a comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in network administration
- Experience in selecting and managing IT service providers, including negotiations, contract closures, and tenders
- Professional experience in an independent and responsible IT role
