Job Summary

This role involves the crucial task of modeling High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) systems and their associated control mechanisms using MATLAB/Simulink. A key part of the job includes integrating voltage-forming control concepts like direct voltage control and grid-forming technologies. The engineer will also be responsible for modeling HVDC systems in PSCAD/EMTDC simulation software and conducting grid calculations for power supply networks, including stability analyses and reactive power demand. After an initial onboarding phase, the successful candidate will independently manage these tasks.
