Job Summary
This role is for an ambitious IT Service Desk Technician with a focus on Linux and networking, aiming to connect people and technology. Day-to-day, you will be the first point of contact for service requests, analyzing and resolving IT issues, and providing support for network problems like DHCP and routing. You'll also handle initial Linux system administration tasks, including user management and log analysis, alongside monitoring and maintaining IT systems and end devices. The position involves guiding users on IT and telecommunication equipment, installing software, and collaborating with other departments. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or comparable qualification
Experience
- Initial experience in IT Support (User Help Desk and 1st Level)
- Knowledge in Linux administration (e.g., user management, package management, log analysis) is a plus
- Basic knowledge in network technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with ticket systems and remote support tools
